Job summary

Houston Country Club is hiring a Full-Time Pastry Cook to produce various dough items, scoop ice cream and cookies, and manage line setup and breakdown. The role may assist in bakery production and serve as relief for the Baker when needed.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail oriented, and passionate about delivering an exceptional member experience in a state-of-the-art kitchen under an award-winning Chef.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree from an accredited culinary institute with a minimum two year experience in a quality dining establishment
• Must communicate in English and have basic comprehension of English
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, ability to work AM/PM shifts

Responsibilities

• Produce pastries and basic dough items; scoop ice cream and cookies as needed
• Set up and break down the a la carte line
• Assist in overall bakery production and cover Baker as needed
• Demonstrate self-motivation and attention to detail while delivering high-quality service
