Job summary

Hai Hospitality in Washington, DC is seeking a Pastry Cook to join our kitchen team focused on dessert production for dinner service. You will bake, create sauces, chocolate work, and other pastry duties in a morning to mid-afternoon shift (7am–3pm). Prior pastry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous pastry production experience is preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen and in various temperatures.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and proper storage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce desserts for dinner service.
• Bake, sauce work and chocolate work as part of pastry production.
• Maintain kitchen safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with inventory and restocking as needed.
