Join our team at renowned The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa as a Pastry Cook! If you're passionate about the art of baking, love working in a fast-paced kitchen, and take pride in beautifully crafted pastries and desserts, this is your chance to shine. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, creative professional with pastry and baking experience to help support prep and line execution in our pastry kitchen. Duties Include

• Follow directions precisely to ensure pastry production meets quality and presentation standards
• Adhere to all Pastry, Culinary, and sanitation guidelines and policies
• Learn and execute pastry recipes and menu items with accuracy and consistency
• Maintain proper stock rotation and uphold cleanliness in all work areas
• Stay open to learning new pastry techniques and how to operate specialty equipment
• Participate in taste panels and quality checks as directed by the Chef
• Execute tasks with a proactive mindset and professional demeanor at all times

Location: The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa - Avon, CO

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Full Time, Year Round

Schedule: 6:00am to 2:00pm or 3:00pm to 11:00pm. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Pay Rate: $22 -$24 / hour

Minimum Requirements

The successful candidate will:

• Be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English and basic Spanish
• Have the ability to measure, count, and follow recipes with precision
• Be familiar with standard kitchen equipment including ovens, mixers, scales, refrigerators, and freezers
• Stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Be able to work on their feet for 8 or more hours
• Learn quickly and adapt easily to new techniques, tasks, and team dynamics
