Job summary

Quail West is seeking a talented Pastry Cook to join our Culinary team. You will prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods while upholding high standards of quality, presentation, and food safety.

You’ll work with the Pastry Chef on daily prep and special events, create dessert presentations, maintain clean workspaces, and ensure consistent flavor and portion control. This full-time position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, and food safety practices.
• Previous experience in pastry preparation, baking, or a professional kitchen preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Creativity and a passion for preparing high-quality desserts.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Food safety or culinary certification preferred.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

• Collaborate with the Culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Assist with additional kitchen duties as needed.

• This is a Full-time position
• Pay rate: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
• Schedule: Must have flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
