A leading company in the culinary landscape, Sqirl Llc is looking for a dedicated Pastry Cook to join their vibrant pastry team. This role involves producing a wide array of pastry items, collaborating on new dessert ideas, and ensuring all products meet high quality standards. Ideal candidates will have strong bread and lamination experience and a passion for creative kitchen experimentation.
Sqirl is looking for a 4-5 day a week pastry prep cook. Friday to Monday or Tuesday being the optimal schedule. This is a rare position to join our exceptional pastry team and help develop our dinner service pastry program.
Pastry Cook
Job Description and Responsibilities
The Pastry Cook is responsible for producing pastry products, fabricating pastry stock, assisting with, and individually creating new pastries as assigned by the Pastry Chef, and working with the team through production.
This will include, but not be limited to:
MUST HAVE Bread experience and Lamination experience.
We value experimentation and creativity. The right candidate should enjoy conceiving new ideas, decorating cakes, working with whole grains, understanding seasonality, and developing new crave-able items, especially for dinner service.
