Job summary

Four Seasons Palm Beach is seeking a skilled Baker to join the Pastry team. You will prepare breads, pastries, and desserts, manage mise en place, and ensure quality and safety across breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banquet production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, culinary school education, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of professional baking and pastry experience.
• Advanced knowledge of baking, pastry production, food preparation, and presentation techniques.
• Knowledge of doughs, breads, pastries, and specialty baked products.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breads, pastries, specialty baked goods, and other bakery items according to recipes and standards.
• Set up stations for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banquets.
• Ensure consistency in presentation, taste, and texture.
• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering and stocking bakery ingredients.
• Label, date, store, and rotate products for freshness and safety.
• Operate and maintain bakery equipment and tools.
• Contribute to menu development and seasonal offerings.
• Support food cost control by reducing waste and maximizing utilization.
• Train and mentor junior pastry team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, sanitary workstation.
• Collaborate with Pastry, Culinary, and F&B teams to meet operations needs.
