Job summary

Four Seasons Palm Beach is seeking an experienced Baker/Pastry Cook to craft breads, pastries, and desserts for daily service and special events. You will support the Pastry team under the Pastry Chef, ensuring top quality, food safety, and timely production aligned with banquet needs.

The role requires 3–5 years of professional baking experience, culinary training, and the ability to manage production schedules while maintaining high standards of presentation and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus culinary training
• 3–5 years of professional baking and pastry experience
• Strong knowledge of doughs, breads, pastries, and presentation
• Ability to work independently and manage production schedules
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

Responsibilities

• Prepare breads, pastries, desserts and bakery items per recipes and quality standards
• Set up mise en place for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banquets
• Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation
• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering and stocking bakery ingredients
• Label, date, store, and rotate products for freshness
• Maintain clean, sanitary workstation and operate bakery equipment
• Contribute to menu development and seasonal offerings
• Support food cost control by minimizing waste
• Train and mentor junior pastry team members
• Collaborate with Pastry, Culinary, and F&B teams
