Ezov in Austin is seeking a Pastry Cook to join a vibrant Eastern Mediterranean kitchen. Prepare breads, pastries, desserts, and other baked goods with consistency, precision, and care, reporting to the Chef de Cuisine.

You will set up and maintain the pastry station, focus on quality, safety, and presentation, and collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Typical schedule includes mornings, with 40–50 hour weeks.

• Professional pastry or baking experience preferred.
• Passion for pastry, baking, and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breads, pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to established recipes and standards.
• Set up, maintain, and close the pastry station with organization and efficiency.
• Maintain proficiency in pastry recipes, techniques, and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standards throughout each shift.
• Communicate clearly and work collaboratively with management and teammates.
• Support training and development of new team members when needed.
• Minimize waste and contribute to responsible use of products and ingredients.
• Adapt to changing priorities and support additional tasks as directed by kitchen leadership.
• Complete all required education and assessments.
• Represent the restaurant with professionalism and pride.
