Qualifications

• 1+ years of pastry or baking experience.
• Strong understanding of baking science and recipe execution.
• Food Handler or ServSafe certification preferred.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Team player with a passion for pastry arts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods to recipe and quality standards.
• Assist in developing and plating new dessert menu items with creativity and consistency.
• Maintain mise en place and ensure all pastry stations are stocked and organized.
• Monitor and manage ingredient inventory, including FIFO storage.
• Operate and maintain baking equipment including ovens, mixers, and tempering machines.
• Uphold food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards per health codes.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to coordinate timing and delivery of dessert courses.
