Bakery Assistant — Inman Park (Full-Time)

Evenings & Weekends Required

We’re seeking a full-time Pastry and Bakery Assistant for our Inman Park team. This position is best suited for someone with 1–2 years of hands-on pastry experience (beyond basic baking), who thrives in a fast-paced setting and has the precision and efficiency to consistently produce high-quality goods.

Key Responsibilities

Follow precise recipes for a variety of baked goods

Execute high-volume production of pastries and cookies

Slice bread and package items for service and delivery

Assist in burger bun production and pastry shaping

Participate in our multi-day naturally leavened sourdough process

Complete end-of-day cleaning and sanitation procedures

Support occasional deliveries as needed

Requirements

1–2 years of professional pastry experience required (Not just baking at home. Experience with laminated doughs, cookies, etc.)

Experience in high-volume production a strong plus

Bread experience, especially naturally leavened sourdough, is a bonus

Familiarity with food safety and sanitation best practices

Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail

Availability for evening shifts (until ~8 PM) and weekends is mandatory

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for long periods
