Qualifications

  • Hourly pay: $25.64
  • Certification bonus of $100 per new ASE certification, up to $700
  • Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, Third shift 11:00 pm - 7:00 am

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Up to 1 year of mechanical experience with diesel engines preferred
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Proficient in English (written and verbal)
  • Customer service skills
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn equipment maintenance
  • Ability to troubleshoot, work independently and in a team, and represent Ryder professionally
  • Good time management and attendance
  • Basic computer skills; familiarity with shop management systems is a plus
  • Beginner knowledge of machines, tools, and systems preferred
  • Valid CDL Class A preferred; must obtain within 6 months
Regulated Tech Requirements
  • Pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, and road test
  • Background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification
Responsibilities
  • Move heavy-duty vehicles, wash and detail vehicles, fuel and maintain fuel and DEF inventories
  • Perform multi-point inspections and minor maintenance
  • Maintain fuel island and perform facility maintenance
  • Complete technician training programs and assessments
  • Perform other duties as assigned
