Job summary

Mission-Church is seeking a Care Director to lead care systems and provide pastoral leadership that scales with the church’s growth. This role combines relational care with strategic systems, equipping staff, leaders, volunteers, Partners, and Planters to care for people in the spaces they lead.

The Care Director owns the care system, creating coaching, resources, teams, and pathways to keep care personal, relational, and sustainable while integrating care throughout Mission’s Gather, Grow, Go

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.
• 3+ years of experience building similar care, support, or organizational infrastructure within nonprofit environment.
• Experience providing pastoral or relational care with healthy boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Create clear pathways for care needs, escalation, and follow-up.
• Develop sustainable care systems at Mission.
• Train and support care leaders and volunteers.
• Coordinate funeral processes and crisis care.
• Collaborate across departments to integrate care.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Ministry, Theology, Biblical Studies, Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field preferred
