Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to do basic math
• Ability to read, write, and understand the local language
• Valid forklift driver's license
• Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching
• Lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilos daily
• Stand for long periods
• Wear required PPE properly at all times
• Willing to wear a respirator
• Work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Willingness to work around lead/fiberglass products
• Periodic blood tests for lead levels
• Work in a plant/warehouse with varying conditions

Responsibilities

• Paste and stack quality grid plates to ensure continuous line production
• Complete equipment set-up and changeover configurations
• Paste quality plates/grids to current production standards
• Observe the pasting operation and clear jams as required
• Maintain control of product quality
• Make necessary machine adjustments
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Report to the EnerSys Energy Systems business
