Job summary

Barilla America, Inc. is seeking a Quality & Food Safety Lead in a hybrid role based out of Northbrook, IL to ensure plants meet food safety standards and drive continuous improvement. The role collaborates with Q&T teams on audits, data analysis, and corrective actions.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in a relevant science field, HACCP, PCQI/FSMA, and is a certified GFSI Lead Auditor, with strong communication and leadership abilities. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Biology, or Chemistry; Master’s preferred.
• HACCP certification, PCQI/FSMA, and GFSI Lead Auditor certifications preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation of quality and food safety policies and procedures across plants.
• Lead audits, data analysis, and improvement plans to meet corporate commitments.
• Coordinate with Q&T managers to drive improvements and training.
