Job summary

The University of South Carolina Postal Services seeks a Postal Courier who also serves as a Passport Acceptance Agent. You will help process and deliver mail and parcels to the USC community, including on-campus residents, while maintaining required certifications.

Responsibilities include operating postal tracking systems, tracking routes and vehicle records, and managing student package operations. A high level of customer service and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• Above-average computer skills and ability to use postal rate websites.
• Good reading, comprehension and verbal communication with faculty, staff and others.
• Ability to operate delivery vehicle and lift gate-equipped box truck for mail deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Process, track, sort and deliver mail and parcels for USC community.
• Maintain delivery routes and vehicle records; manage student package operations.
• Operate postal tracking and mailing systems; assist with outgoing mail processing.
