Job summary

Blue River Services, Inc is seeking a Dispatcher in Indiana to support safe, timely transportation of passengers by coordinating trip information, dispatching drivers, and maintaining accurate records. You will communicate with passengers, drivers, and community partners and handle schedule changes with composure.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service, organization, and data-entry skills, plus experience with dispatch software and Excel.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum one year of experience with customer service, coordination, scheduling, or administrative skills.
Experience handling high call volumes or coordinating transportation services preferred.
Experience using dispatching, scheduling, database, spreadsheet, or other office software preferred.

Responsibilities

Answer calls, gather trip and passenger information, and communicate details to appropriate staff.
Dispatch information to drivers via radio, phone, or email to support timely pickups and drop-offs.
Provide drivers with routes, schedules, and directions as needed.
Communicate professionally with passengers, families, staff, and community partners.
Maintain accurate transportation records, including Excel spreadsheets and schedules.
Create and update information within the Dispatch Software package.
