Responsibilities

• Plan and execute barge and boat schedules within the assigned river segment.
• Provide area manager with daily activity forecasts and validate plans.
• Communicate boat and barge positions, schedules, and updates.
• Update barge release and placement information.
• Notify customers of pending arrivals and barge availability.
• Coordinate fleet movement safely to maximize utilization and minimize costs.
• Enter vendor, barge, and traffic data into the computer system.
• Coordinate port occurrences with harbor service vendors.
• Monitor barge traffic for exceptions and implement corrections.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
