The Nashua Board of Education seeks an educational interpreter/translator to facilitate communication between students, families and staff who speak languages other than English.
The interpreter will provide oral interpretation and written translation support, primarily for Pashto-speaking students and families, across district programs. Starting ASAP for the 2025-2026 school year, 180 days, salary $25/hour, district-wide coverage.
Applicants should hold an Associate’s degree and be fluent in Pashto.
Completed or currently enrolled in one of the interpreter training courses below or equivalent
The educational interpreter/translator has a primarily responsible for facilitating communication among students and parents who speak a language other than English. The educational interpreter provides interpreting and as well as additional support services to students and parents who need assistance with the English language. Applicant will be proficient in written translation.
