Job summary

Aquatech International LLC in Pasco, WA is seeking a full-time Water Treatment Operator to join our industrial water treatment team. The successful candidate will monitor plant operations, maintain records, perform chemistry control, and assist with maintenance and sample collection on site.

Expect responsibilities including handling chemicals, loading treated water into trucks, and ensuring safety compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating industrial water treatment plants with relevant processes (PT, DM, RO, DAF, Digestors, wastewater units).
• Ability to interpret instructions, maintain records, and perform quality checks with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant operation and keep detailed records of processes.
• Carry out quality checks and chemistry control as directed.
• Report abnormalities to the local supervisor promptly.
• Load and unload consumable chemicals safely and efficiently.
• Load outgoing treated water into trucks and monitor filter press operation.
• Assist in sludge handling and routine plant maintenance.

The Water Treatment Operator will report to the O&M Manager, perform the duties described in the job description below, and be considered a non-exempt employee.The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, be organizehave the d, have the ability to interpret instructions, and have attention to detail.
