Job summary

Aquatech International in Pasco, WA is seeking a Water Treatment Operator for a full-time, on-site role reporting to the O&M Manager. You will monitor plant operations, maintain water treatment processes, and ensure accurate record-keeping while supporting chemistry controls and safety procedures.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with PT, DM, RO, DAF, and related chemical processes, with attention to detail and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Experience operating/maintaining industrial water treatment plants (PT, DM, RO, DAF).
• Knowledge of chemical processes in Pre-Treatment, Demineralization and Wastewater treatment.
• Safety-sensitive role requiring pre-employment 5 Panel Test.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the plant operation.
• Keep records of operation and quality checks.
• Perform chemistry control and report abnormalities.
• Load and unload consumable chemicals and treat water.
• Monitor filter press operation and coordinate sludge movement.
• Assist in sample collection and plant maintenance as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols while on site.
