Job summary

Apex Entertainment in Marlborough, MA is seeking energetic Party Hosts to lead birthday celebrations and group events on-site. You will set up rooms, welcome families, and guide activities to ensure every guest has a memorable experience.

As the heartbeat of the party, you’ll coordinate itineraries, personalize experiences, and maintain a clean venue. Flexibility with weekends/holidays is required and prior guest services experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Be on your feet and active for 4–10 hours.
• Experience in events, customer service, or hospitality is a plus.
• Flexible availability, especially weekends and holidays (required).
• Comfortable working with kids and guests of all ages.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up party rooms with supplies, decorations, and a festive atmosphere.
• Welcome birthday families and guests with enthusiasm and warmth.
• Escort the party group to their designated space and explain what to expect.
• Keep children engaged with fun activities while waiting for other guests to arrive.
• Review the party itinerary with the parent or guardian to ensure a smooth event.
• Personalize the party experience with special requests or themed details.
• Coordinate food, drinks, and cake service at the right moments.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment throughout the celebration.
• Engage with guests of all ages, creating a fun and friendly vibe.
• Keep the party running on time and help guide transitions between activities.
• Assist guests with gathering belongings and packing up gifts.

Position Overview

As a Party Host, you'll play a key role in bringing joy, excitement, and energy to every celebration. From setting up festive party rooms to coordinating activities and making every guest feel special, you'll be the heart of the party and the reason guests return for more fun.

Key Responsibilities

Party Prep

• Set up party rooms with supplies, decorations, and a festive atmosphere
• Welcome birthday families and guests with enthusiasm and warmth
