Job summary

Apex Entertainment is seeking Event Servers and Bartenders to help deliver memorable experiences at events, parties, and banquets. You will work with servers, bartenders, culinary staff, and management to ensure smooth operations and outstanding service. Salary: $15.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include guest service, food and beverage service, setup and breakdown, and maintaining clean work areas. Flexible scheduling and opportunities to work a variety of events and shifts are available.

Qualifications

• TIPS Training is required for bartenders and employees serving alcohol.
• Previous food & beverage, hospitality, restaurant, or event experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly, professional, and positive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

• Assist with coffee stations, ice machines, dishwashing, and other event tasks.

Busy season is fast approaching and Apex Entertainment is growing our event team!

As an Event Server and Bartender, you will help create memorable experiences for our guests by providing outstanding food and beverage service during events, parties, and banquets. You will work closely with other servers, bartenders, culinary staff, and management to ensure every event runs smoothly and our guests receive exceptional service.

Whether you are serving food, preparing beverages, or assisting with event setup and breakdown, you will play an important role in creating the fun and welcoming atmosphere Apex Entertainment is known for.

Responsibilities Guest Service

• Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to all guests.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve food and beverages while maintaining proper presentation and service standards.
• Answer guest questions and respond to requests in a professional manner.
• Handle guest concerns and challenging situations calmly and appropriately.
• Monitor guests and communicate with management when assistance is needed.

Bartending & Beverage Service

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and portion standards.
• Verify guest identification and follow all applicable alcohol service regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar.
• Accurately process payments through the point-of-sale system.
• Maintain product quality and proper beverage presentation.
• Respond appropriately to guests who may be intoxicated and notify management when necessary.

Event Service & Support

• Attend pre-event and departmental meetings as needed.
• Work closely with servers, bartenders, culinary staff, and management to provide seamless event service.
• Assist with event setup, including tables, chairs, place settings, and other event materials.
• Assist with event breakdown, cleaning, and resetting of event spaces.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout the event.
• Assist with coffee stations, ice machines, dishwashing, and other event-related tasks as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• TIPS Training is required for bartenders and employees serving alcohol.
• Previous food & beverage, hospitality, restaurant, or event experience is preferred but not required.

• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and events based on business needs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry trays, dish racks, glass racks, and other items as needed.
• Ability to work in busy, sometimes tight spaces while safely interacting with guests.
• Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to safely handle and rotate beer kegs and other items weighing up to 100 lbs., with assistance as appropriate.
