Job summary

Main Event Entertainment is seeking enthusiastic Party Hosts in Taylor, MI to manage birthday parties with energy and care. You will guide guests through scheduled activities, engage with attendees, and ensure a fun, safe experience from setup to teardown.

The role emphasizes teamwork, clear communication, and a strong guest-focused mindset, with opportunities to grow and enjoy perks such as discounts and tuition reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Greet arriving parties and host them through scheduled activities.
• Interact with guests to create memorable experiences during the party.
• Monitor events, anticipate needs, assist the party planner.
• Assist with gathering gifts and cake, if applicable.
• Process payments and welcome guests back after activities.
• Set up and break down before/after each party and maintain cleanliness.
• Uphold safety and sanitation standards.

At Main Event, our Party Hosts are the life of the party and create unforgettable birthday memories! As a Party Host, you are enthusiastic and relentless in creating FUN birthday celebrations, all while having a little fun yourself! You know the details of the event inside and out and can manage the scheduled birthday activities, so our birthday parents don’t have to! You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Welcome and engage with arriving birthday parties and serving as their Host throughout their scheduled activities (let’s get this party started!)
• Creating memorable experiences by interacting and engaging with the party Guests throughout the birthday event
• Ensuring memorable birthday experiences by monitoring events, anticipating party needs, and aiding the party parent/party planner
• Gathering and storing birthday gifts and cake (if applicable)
• Processing payment transactions and welcoming our Guests back
• Setting up, breaking down, and cleaning before and after each party event
• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Prior food and beverage or Party Host experience is a plus but not required
• Guest-focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)
• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Attention to detail and strong multi-tasking skills
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability to workdays, nights and/or weekends
