Job summary

Main Event Entertainment seeks an energetic Party Host in Fort Worth, TX to welcome birthday parties, guide activities, and ensure unforgettable experiences for guests and their families.

As a Host you will engage with party guests, manage scheduled events, handle payments, and help with setup and teardown while upholding our safety, sanitation, and service standards to create a fun, memorable celebration.

Qualifications

• Prior food and beverage or Party Host experience is a plus, but not required.
• Guest-focused mindset and customer-service orientation.
• Strong teamwork and clear communication with guests and staff.
• Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to work days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage arriving parties as Host throughout the scheduled activities.
• Create memorable experiences by interacting with party guests during the event.
• Monitor events, anticipate party needs, and assist the party planner as needed.
• Gather and store birthday gifts and cake when applicable.
• Process payment transactions and greet guests as they leave.
• Set up, break down, and clean before and after each party event.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.

At Main Event, our Party Hosts are the life of the party and create unforgettable birthday memories! As a Party Host, you are enthusiastic and relentless in creating FUN birthday celebrations, all while having a little fun yourself! You know the details of the event inside and out and can manage the scheduled birthday activities, so our birthday parents don't have to! You're also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Welcome and engage with arriving birthday parties and serving as their Host throughout their scheduled activities (let's get this party started!)
• Creating memorable experiences by interacting and engaging with the party Guests throughout the birthday event
• Ensuring memorable birthday experiences by monitoring events, anticipating party needs, and aiding the party parent/party planner
• Gathering and storing birthday gifts and cake (if applicable)
• Processing payment transactions and welcoming our Guests back
• Setting up, breaking down, and cleaning before and after each party event
• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Prior food and beverage or Party Host experience is a plus but not required
• Guest-focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)
• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Attention to detail and strong multi-tasking skills
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability to workdays, nights and/or weekends
