Job summary

Main Event Entertainment is seeking a Party Host to welcome birthday guests, manage activities, and ensure safety and fun throughout events. You will engage guests, coordinate activities, handle payments, and assist with setup and teardown.

No strict prior experience required, but a guest-focused mindset and strong teamwork are essential. Enjoy a lively culture with growth opportunities, tuition support, and employee perks at Main Event.

Qualifications

• Prior food and beverage or Party Host experience is a plus, but not required
• Guest focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)
• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Attention to detail and strong multi-tasking skills
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability to work days, nights and/or weekends

Responsibilities

• Upholding cleanliness and safety standards
• Welcoming and engaging with arriving birthday parties and serving as their Host throughout the scheduled activities
• Creating memorable experiences by interacting and engaging with party Guests
• Monitoring events, anticipating party needs, and aiding the party parent/party planner
• Gathering and storing birthday gifts and cake (if applicable)
• Processing payment transactions and welcoming Guests back
• Setting up, breaking down, and cleaning before and after each party event

At Main Event, our Party Hosts are the life of the party and create unforgettable birthday memories! As a Party Host, you are enthusiastic and relentless in creating FUN birthday celebrations, all while having a little fun yourself! You know the details of the event inside and out and can manage the scheduled birthday activities, so our birthday parents don’t have to! You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY? Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!) Welcoming and engaging with arriving birthday parties and serving as their Host throughout their scheduled activities (let’s get this party started!) Creating memorable experiences by interacting and engaging with the party Guests throughout the birthday event Ensuring memorable birthday experiences by monitoring events, anticipating party needs, and aiding the party parent/party planner Gathering and storing birthday gifts and cake (if applicable) Processing payment transactions and welcoming our Guests back Setting up, breaking down, and cleaning before and after each party event

Salary

Salary Compensation is from $14.35 - $15.85 per hour Salary Range: 15.45 - 16.1 We are an equal opportunity employer and participate in E-Verify in states where required.
