Job summary

The Goddard School of Fort Smith, AR is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support the Lead Teacher with age-appropriate lessons and to aid in children's physical, social, and cognitive development.

You will help prepare materials, maintain a safe classroom, and communicate with parents about progress. The role emphasizes a nurturing environment with no nights or weekend shifts. High school diploma required; ECE preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Shows empathy and compassion for young children
• Works productively without supervision
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
