Job summary

Boyd Company in Louisville, KY is seeking a warehouse associate to receive, stock, pack and ship parts with accuracy and safety. You will maintain inventory, fill parts orders, and operate material handling equipment under minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, can read and follow verbal and written instructions, and can lift up to 50 pounds. Overtime may be required; some departments may require a commercial driver’s license in the future.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift parts up to 50 pounds and assist with heavier items.

Responsibilities

• Fills parts orders per requests.
• Assists will call and counter personnel for will call parts.
• Reads and comprehends parts orders, packing lists and freight bills.
• Uses computer terminal to process and ensure accuracy of parts transactions, completes paperwork promptly.
• Ensures parts are counted, packaged and shipped per shipping orders and procedures.
• Receives and stocks incoming parts and merchandise, checks for discrepancies.
