Job summary

RWC International in Anchorage, AK is seeking a Parts Warehouse Associate to maintain accurate parts inventory and support related administrative tasks in our fast-paced warehouse.

You will stock incoming orders, assist the parts manager with weekly stock orders, process returns, credits, and invoices, and help keep the inventory accurate and organized. forklift certification is preferred and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation experience or willingness to obtain certification.
• Background check and pre-hire drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Stocks and posts incoming orders.
• Assists parts manager in processing weekly stock orders.
• Notifies appropriate parties when special order parts arrive.
• Serves as back-up for parts manager for inventory functions.
• Updates electronic parts files.
• Provides necessary information to the warranty department to allow prompt filing of parts warranties.
• Reviews files to determine unused items and recommends disposal of excess stock.
• Ensures that credits are received for returned parts.
• Returns parts as needed and removes from inventory after credit is received.
• Returns cores in a timely manner and follows up for receipt of credit.
• Matches purchase orders and invoices, approves, and forwards to accounting office.
• Files company copies of parts counter invoices.
• Assists in preparing for and performing annual parts inventory.
• Assists in annual parts returns.
• Assists Parts Sales Associates with check, insurance, and credit card processing when possible.
• Keeps parts area clean and uncluttered.
• Maintains professional appearance.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Salary range for Parts Warehouse Associate (depending on role and experience level) can range from $15.00-$30.00/hour.

ACTIVITY AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

Employee safety is a prime concern of RWC. This position is a safety sensitive position and falls under the requirements of the RWC Drug and Alcohol policy.

• Normal physical strength to handle routine materials and tools
• Normal physical strength to handle 20-pound object, taking frequency into consideration

• Preferred work experience
• Willingness to complete forklift certification training and operate a forklift as needed
