Ron Craft Chevrolet/Cadillac, a Sonic Automotive family dealership, is seeking a Parts and Training Manager to oversee parts inventory, pricing, and staff performance. The role focuses on driving profitability, managing budgeted targets, and coordinating with service and parts teams to optimize turnover.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• One year of supervisory experience.
• Experience in an automotive parts department.
• Excellent communication and managerial skills.
• Some sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them.
• Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all parts department staff.
• Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the parts department.
• Maintains a balanced inventory in coordination with service, body shop, wholesale accounts, and DIY customers.
• Establishes pricing parameters to generate gross profit while maintaining customer loyalty.
• Analyzes sales, expenses, and inventory monthly to maintain profit goals.
• Directs outside parts and counter sales efforts and telemarketing to maintain customer contact.
• Develops sales promotions and takes advantage of manufacturer co-op advertising.
