Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Parts Technician to gain foundational knowledge and help ensure technicians have the parts they need for repairs.

You will assist in inventory management, perform audits, receive inbound shipments, stock parts, and maintain information systems; shifts may include nights, weekends, and outdoor work, with full-time attendance. The starting pay range is $19.44–$27.71 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent; ability to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Shadow a senior team member to learn fulfilling parts requests and ensure proper charging to the unit under repair.
• Observe all safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies.
• Maintain a clean, well-ordered work environment free of trash and hazards.
• Conduct Cycle Counts as required.
• Receive inbound shipments of parts and fuel to ensure proper quantity ordered and free of damage; stock inbound parts to the proper storage location and update information systems.
