Job summary

P&D Appliance in South San Francisco is seeking a Parts Supervisor to lead branch parts, purchasing, inventory, and warehouse operations, ensuring technicians have the parts and resources needed for scheduled service and emergencies.

You will partner with technicians, dispatch, vendors, and leadership to boost parts availability, reduce costs, and improve safety and customer service; forklift or ERP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in parts, purchasing, inventory, warehouse, or service operations.
• Experience with commercial kitchen equipment or foodservice is a plus.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Proficient with inventory management or ERP and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Able to pass background check and drug screening.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all parts operations for the branch, including purchasing, inventory control, replenishment, returns, and parts availability.
• Source and order parts for commercial cooking equipment to support scheduled and emergency service calls.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Oversee warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, storage, staging, transfers, and organization.
• Partner with technicians and dispatch to ensure required parts are available for service calls.
• Build and maintain vendor relationships to support pricing, availability, and returns.
• Support direct parts sales and identify opportunities to grow parts-related revenue.
• Maintain accountability and controls over equipment and assets.
• Lead branch in prioritizing workplace safety and compliance with policies.
• Collaborate with branch and regional leadership to improve efficiency and performance.

Parts Supervisor

Full-Time | 7:30 AM - 4 PM

Pay Range: $30-33/hour

The Parts Supervisor leads branch parts, purchasing, inventory, and warehouse operations to support efficient service delivery and branch performance. This role ensures technicians have the parts and resources needed to complete scheduled service calls and emergency repairs while maintaining inventory accuracy, controlling costs, and supporting productivity and profitability.

The position partners with technicians, dispatch, branch leadership, vendors, manufacturers, and customers to improve parts availability, operational efficiency, safety, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all parts operations for branch, including purchasing, inventory control, replenishment, returns, and parts availability.
• Source and order parts for commercial cooking, refrigeration, and foodservice equipment to support scheduled and emergency service calls.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts, reconciliations, replenishment, and inventory management practices.
• Oversee warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, storage, staging, transfers, and organization.
• Partner with technicians and dispatch to ensure required parts are available and technicians are properly prepared for service calls.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to support competitive pricing, product availability, timely deliveries, warranty processing, and returns.
• Support direct parts sales and identify opportunities to grow parts-related revenue.
• Maintain accountability and appropriate controls over equipment, vehicles, and other company assets
• Lead branch team in prioritizing workplace safety, reinforcing compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
• Partner with branch and regional leadership to improve operational efficiency, inventory management, and overall branch performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in parts, purchasing, inventory, warehouse, service operations, or related experience
• Commercial kitchen equipment, food service, HVAC, refrigeration, or other service-industry experience a plus
• Forklift certified preferred
• Proficiency with inventory management or ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively with technicians, vendors, customers, and leadership.
• Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company safety standards.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
