Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Waterloo, IA is seeking a Parts Specialist to join our store team. This full-time role focuses on in-store customer service and managing parts inventory, stocking, receiving, sales, and cycle counts.

Duties include assisting customers, locating parts using the inventory system, processing sales, handling cash, and supporting service technicians with parts. The position requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year in parts operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in parts department operations.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and internet functions.
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers to determine parts needs.
• Researches and identifies parts using the computer inventory system.
• Processes the sale of parts.
• Handles cash payments during opening/closing procedures.
• Verifies receipt of shipments and assists with machine-down and stock orders.
• Supports service technicians with required parts.
• Transfers parts between locations via the computer system.
• Responsible for opening/closing the store.
• Answers the phone and assists customers.
• Performs cycle counts as directed by Parts Lead.
• Prepares and maintains merchandise displays.
• Performs showroom and warehouse housekeeping.
• Maintains condition of tools and equipment.
