Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic data entry/keyboard skills.
• Basic parts and machinery knowledge.
• Ability to use the John Deere Parts Catalog computer application.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Forklift license preferred.
• Stand for long periods of time.
• Walk, bend/stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level, grasping.
• Majority of the job is completed during regular business hours, but some duties may require flexible hours.
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Identify and help customers identify, order and receive parts for repair of equipment.
• Promote and sell products and/or services to meet customer needs.
• Supply Service Technicians with parts as required.
• Assist with maintaining merchandise displays.
• Verify receipting-in of shipments and place orders to maintain inventory.
• Keep the parts department clean and orderly.
• Follow up on shortages by working with the Parts Manager.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working order.
