Job summary

MANCON, LLC in Staunton, VA seeks a Parts Specialist II to provide counter service to VDOT employees, assist with inventory control, data entry in inventory systems, and exceptional customer service. May drive a MANCON vehicle to pick up parts and support field operations.

This hourly role requires attention to detail, ability to review requisition forms, and readiness for emergency coverage. The position emphasizes sourcing parts, following SOPs, and contributing to safe and efficient

Qualifications

1 year computer experience.
24-hour availability during emergency and/or critical operations.
Valid Driver's License with two years driving experience.
5 years of experience with auto or heavy-duty truck parts (P1 or P2 ASE certification may be substituted for 2 years of experience).

Responsibilities

Provide quality customer service to include but not limited to the following.
Drive vehicle to designated locations to purchase/pick up parts.
Review all invoices at vendor location to ensure accuracy on pricing and quantities.
Assist in generating invoices for customer requisitions in the inventory system.
Perform weekly inventory cycle counts and wall-to-wall inventories at site.
Follow established guidelines for vehicle and equipment maintenance and safety.
