Job summary

MANCON in Staunton, VA seeks a Parts Specialist II to provide counter service for VDOT employees, assist with inventory control, data entry in inventory systems, and exceptional customer service. The role may involve driving a MANCON vehicle to pick up parts and requires strong sourcing and adherence to SOPs.

Hourly pay ranges from $13.00 to $24.89 per hour, with placement based on relevant experience, certifications, and demonstrated skills aligned with the role requirements.

Qualifications

• 1 year computer experience and strong data entry capability.
• 24-hour availability during emergencies and/or critical operations.
• Valid Driver's License with at least two years of driving experience.
• 5 years of experience with auto or heavy-duty truck parts; ASE certification may substitute 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service at the counter and assist with part lookups.
• Review requisitions for completeness (signatures, timestamps, part numbers, descriptions and quantities).
• Answer questions regarding availability of parts and ensure correct parts are provided.
• Drive company vehicle to designated locations to pick up parts and return products to MANCON in a timely fashion.
• Assist with generating invoices and data entry in inventory systems.
• Perform weekly inventory cycle counts and assist with wall-to-wall inventories.
