Job summary

Toyota Lift Northwest in Kent, WA is seeking an experienced Parts Specialist to handle external customer calls, over-the-counter orders, and vendor coordination. You will respond with urgency while maintaining accurate inventory, costs, and quality controls.

Responsibilities include processing orders, assisting sales staff, and participating in regular inventories to ensure stock integrity. A high school diploma and 2 years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years' related experience and/or training preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to work off-hours as needed.
• Ability to manage time effectively.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and organized work area.

Responsibilities

• Accepts telephone, email and counter orders for external customers and technicians.
• Researches replacement parts using parts manuals or listings.
• Discusses use and features of various parts.
• Fills customer orders from stock or by special order and replenishes stock.
• Advises customers on substitutions or modifications when replacements are unavailable.
• Updates customers on back-ordered parts.
• Prepares Sales Orders for invoicing and processes payments.
• Participates in inventories and cycle counts.
• Maintain accurate inventory and sales records.
• Support Parts Sales Specialists with order entry and stock replenishment.
• Promote sales and handle customer interactions.
