Job summary

Power Equipment Company in New Mexico is seeking a Parts Specialist with strong computer and customer service skills and solid knowledge of construction equipment and aggregate parts. This role serves internal and external customers, handles high-call volumes, locates parts in catalogs and online, processes orders, manages backorders, and coordinates shipping with vendors and the service team.

Forklift certification is preferred and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Proficient with computers and MS Office; able to navigate business software.
• Experience with inventory control software and DMS type systems.
• Forklift trained and certified.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and attend to parts orders and customer service needs.
• Identify proper parts numbers and complete order forms; sell related items as needed.
• Assist with parts or product support needs; manage backordered parts and arrange shipping logistics.
• Work with outside Product Support Representatives on parts orders for customers.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and support service department.
• Maintain product knowledge and participate in training events.
• Support safety policies and environmental practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the service manager.
• Provide 24-hour support when necessary.

Education

High school diploma; Associates or Bachelor Degree Preferred
