O’Reilly Auto Parts in Buhl, ID is seeking a helpful Parts Specialist to deliver high-level service to retail and installer customers. This role supports store management and promotes customer service programs. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, with fluency in Spanish highly valued.

You will greet customers, assist with merchandise, process transactions, handle returns, and help with stock and planograms. Training and cross-functional support are provided to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote all company customer service programs, e.g. Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot.
• Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Assist managers and installer service specialists with professional customers.
• Complete required company training related to the position.
• Answer store calls per policy, lookup parts, quote prices, and offer Low-Price Guarantee.
• Process cash, checks, credit cards, and manage cash drawer securely.
• Handle exchanges/returns per policy and maintain a friendly atmosphere.
• Address and resolve customer complaints professionally.
• Assist with daily image maker and planogram updates, stocking shelves, and cleaning.
• Perform daily operations: returns to distribution center, stock counts, etc.
• Operate brake lathe and store test equipment after training.
• Deliver in-store services (where allowed by law) such as wipers, batteries, and flashlight checks.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle as needed.
