Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high levels of service to retail and installer customers in our store. This role supports store management and involves daily customer interaction, part lookups, and cash handling.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and may assist with in-store services as needed. The position requires front-line customer service excellence, ability to multitask between phone and in-store duties, and a willingness to perform various operating

Qualifications

• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in-store simultaneously.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Assist managers and installers with professional customers as needed.
• Process exchanges and returns for credit per company policy.
• Answer store phone calls, lookup parts, quote prices, and upsell related items.
• Maintain cash drawer, process payments, and handle daily transactions.
• Assist with inventory tasks, planogram updates, and store operations.
• Perform in-store services (wiper installation, battery test, light testing, etc.) where allowed by law.
• Deliveries when required and driving eligibility is met.
