Compensation Pay Range
$16.50 - $24.50
The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation may include performance-based bonuses, premiums based on schedule, season, or specific tasks, and may be paid in specific circumstances. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide high-level service to retail and installer customers.
- Support store management in daily tasks.
- Follow all customer service programs such as Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, and others.
- Greet customers promptly and assist with merchandise selection.
- Assist professional customers and support team members as needed.
- Complete relevant training.
- Handle phone inquiries, look up parts, quote prices, and recommend products.
- Maintain cash drawer, process transactions, and handle exchanges and returns.
- Address customer complaints professionally.
- Assist with store organization, stocking, and inventory tasks.
- Operate store equipment after training.
- Perform in-store services like installing wipers, testing batteries, and vehicle diagnostics where legal.
- Occasionally drive delivery vehicles if qualified.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
- ASE certification.
- Multilingual abilities, especially Spanish.
