Summary

The primary responsibility of a Parts Specialist is to inventory, monitor, verify, and distribute parts accurately. This position also helps to ensure the efficiency and productivity of CollisionRight’s services by ordering and receiving parts as needed in a timely manner.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

• Accurately maintain inventory control of all parts in the system.
• Order parts as needed to ensure timely arrival.
• Inspect all parts for damage upon delivery to the shop.
• Immediately return incorrect parts to the vendor and acquire the correct parts promptly.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are operating correctly.
• Answer customer questions regarding their vehicle.
• Maintain a cost projection spreadsheet and follow up with other departments on product needs.
• Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, and communicate regularly about the status and delivery of parts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• At least 1 year of experience in Parts Operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel is preferred but not required.
• Ability to analyze and interpret internal cost reports.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to understand written instructions, work orders, and estimates.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and as a leader.
