The Parts Specialist provides high-quality service to retail and installer customers and supports store management in various tasks.

Essential Job Functions

1. Follow and promote all customer service programs, e.g., Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot.
2. Greet customers promptly and assist them in selecting merchandise.
3. Assist managers and installer service specialists as needed.
4. Complete relevant training.
5. Answer store calls, look up parts, quote prices, recommend related items, and promote the Low-Price Guarantee.
6. Manage cash drawer, process transactions, and handle exchanges and returns.
7. Resolve customer complaints amicably.
8. Update store displays, stock shelves, and perform cleaning.
9. Handle operational tasks like merchandise returns, stock adjustments, and cycle counts.
10. Operate store equipment after training.
11. Perform in-store services (e.g., install wipers, test batteries, scan trouble codes).
12. Drive delivery vehicle if needed and eligible.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

1. Knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
2. ASE certification.
