The Parts Specialist provides high-quality service to retail and installer customers and supports store management in various tasks.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Follow all customer service programs such as Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, etc.
2. Greet customers promptly and assist them in selecting merchandise.
3. Support managers and installer service specialists as needed.
4. Complete relevant company training.
5. Answer phone calls, look up parts, quote prices, and promote related products.
6. Handle cash, checks, credit transactions, and maintain the cash drawer securely.
7. Process exchanges and returns per company policies.
8. Resolve customer complaints courteously.
9. Assist with store image updates, freight handling, and stock organization.
10. Perform operational tasks like merchandise returns, inventory counts, etc.
11. Operate store equipment after training.
12. Provide in-store services such as installing wipers, testing batteries, and vehicle diagnostics where legal.
13. Drive delivery vehicle as needed, subject to driving record approval.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities:

1. Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
2. Excellent customer service skills.
3. Ability to multitask effectively.

Desired Qualifications:

1. Familiarity with automotive parts and systems.
2. ASE certification.
3. Multilingual ability, especially Spanish.
