Job Description

NAPA IBS is an onsite Single Source Supply Chain Management program that procures and manages parts, tires, bulk fluids, and other non-automotive inventory within our customers' locations. Our clients include airlines, government agencies, transit authorities, and private fleets. Learn more at NAPA IBS - Who We Serve.

This position is located inside the City of Tampa Fire garage on Chestnut.

Work Environment
  • This location operates Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, with potential extended hours during emergencies such as hurricanes or other natural disasters.
  • Work is performed inside our customers' facilities.
  • The location does not have air conditioning.
  • Exposure to fumes or airborne particles may occur during duties.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to partners and clients.
  • Process electronic part requests using the IBS HUB computer system.
  • Locate assets in the shop and gather additional information like VIN, serial numbers, or part numbers to assist sourcing.
  • Fulfill work order requests utilizing approved IBS vendors.
  • Assist in receiving and stocking supplies, including barcode tagging and proper placement.
  • Operate delivery vehicle for pickups and drop-offs as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the site, stockroom, and surrounding areas.
  • Report and address customer sales or service concerns promptly.
Qualifications, Experience, Education, and Abilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Parts knowledge in Fire, EMS, or related industries (Automotive, Heavy Duty, Transit, etc.) preferred.
  • Ability to source hard-to-find items via internet, catalogs, or blueprints.
  • Comfortable working in a fleet shop environment.
  • Ability to stand and walk for entire shift.
  • Capable of lifting and moving up to 60 pounds.
  • Able to bend, stoop, and reach shelves (up to eight feet) using stools or ladders when necessary.
  • Operate moving aids such as hand trucks, carts, and dollies.
