Job Description

The Parts Specialist will provide high-quality service to retail and installer customers and support store management in various tasks.

Essential Job Functions

1. Promote all company customer service programs, such as Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, and related selling initiatives.
2. Greet customers promptly and assist them in selecting merchandise.
3. Support managers and installer service specialists in serving professional customers.
4. Complete relevant training programs.
5. Provide excellent customer service over the phone, including answering calls, looking up parts, quoting prices, and promoting company guarantees.
6. Maintain cash drawer accurately, accept payments, and process transactions.
7. Handle exchanges and returns in line with company policies.
8. Resolve customer complaints professionally.
9. Assist with store image updates, freight receival, stocking, and cleaning.
10. Perform operational tasks like merchandise returns, stock adjustments, and inventory counts.
11. Operate store equipment after training.
12. Perform in-store services such as wiper installation, battery testing, and vehicle code scanning where legal.
13. Drive delivery vehicles when needed, subject to driving record approval.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

Required: Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences, provide friendly and professional customer service, and multitask effectively.

Desired: Knowledge of automotive parts, ASE certification, and multilingual skills (Spanish preferred).
