Job summary

Van-Wall-Equipment,-Inc. seeks a Parts Specialist to sell service parts, bulk fluids, attachments and accessories, while handling in-store customer service and stocking duties. You will identify and provide complete parts solutions for customers.

Responsibilities include assisting service technicians with parts, maintaining displays, verifying shipments, and coordinating with the parts manager to address shortages, all while keeping tools and vehicles in good working order.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience within the forklift industry.
• Basic data entry/keyboard skills.
• Basic parts and machinery knowledge.
• Ability to use the correct parts catalog computer application.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Forklift license preferred.
• Stand for long periods; lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly.

Job Summary

Selling service parts, bulk fluids, attachments, and accessories. In addition, performs in-store customer service, overall organizational promotion, and stocking duties. Identifies and provides complete parts solutions for customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Knowledge of all parts in order to effectively help customers identify, order and receive necessary parts for repair of equipment offered for sale by the dealership
• Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs
• Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required
• Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays
• Verifies receipting-in of shipments and assists with placing Orders in their proper inventory locations thus maintaining an accurate and complete inventory
• Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly
• Follows up on shortages and issues by working directly with the parts manager
• Assists in maintaining all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order

Position Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience within the forklift industry required
• Basic data entry/keyboard skills
• Basic parts and machinery knowledge
• Ability to use the correct parts catalog computer application
• Ability to work in a team environment

• Majority of the job is completed during regular business hours, but some job duties may require flexible hours
