Job summary

Van-Wall-Equipment,-Inc. in Greene, IA is seeking a Parts Counter associate to sell service parts, bulk fluids, attachments, and accessories, and to support in-store customer service.

You will identify and provide complete parts solutions for customers, assist with stocking and merchandising, and coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely parts availability.

Qualifications

• Basic data entry/keyboard skills.
• Basic parts and machinery knowledge.

• Forklift license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, order and provide necessary parts for repair of equipment sold by the dealership.
• Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs.
• Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required.
• Assists with maintaining merchandise displays.
• Verifies receipting-in of shipments and places orders in inventory locations.
• Keeps the parts department clean and orderly.
• Follows up on shortages and coordinates with the Parts Manager.
• Maintains departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles in good order.

Job Summary

Selling service parts, bulk fluids, attachments, and accessories. In addition, performs in-store customer service, overall organizational promotion, and stocking duties. Identifies and provides complete parts solutions for customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Knowledge of all parts in order to effectively help customers identify, order and receive necessary parts for repair of equipment offered for sale by the dealership
• Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs
• Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required
• Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays
• Verifies receipting-in of shipments and assists with placing Orders in their proper inventory locations thus maintaining an accurate and complete inventory
• Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly
• Follows up on shortages and issues by working directly with the Parts Manager
• Assists in maintaining all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order
