The Parts Specialist will provide excellent service to retail and installer customers and support store management in daily tasks.

Essential Job Functions

1. Promote all company customer service programs (Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, etc.).
2. Greet customers promptly and assist with merchandise selection.
3. Support managers and installer service specialists as needed.
4. Complete relevant company training.
5. Provide phone customer service, including parts lookup, quoting, and recommending products.
6. Handle cash, checks, credit transactions, and maintain the cash drawer.
7. Process exchanges and returns per company policies.
8. Resolve customer complaints amicably.
9. Assist with store image updates, freight receival, and stocking.
10. Perform operational tasks like merchandise returns, stock counts, etc.
11. Operate store equipment after training.
12. Perform in-store services (e.g., install wipers, test batteries, scan codes).
13. Drive delivery vehicle if needed, meeting driving eligibility requirements.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills, Education, and Experience

Required: Ability to match alphanumeric sequences, provide friendly customer service, multitask effectively.

Desired: Automotive parts knowledge, ASE certification, multilingual skills (Spanish preferred).
