Job Description
Job Title: Automotive Intake & Parts Specialist
Location: 1751 Heritage Center Dr, Wake Forest, NC 27587
Job Overview: We are looking for an Intake & Parts Specialist who is energetic, upbeat, and has a positive attitude.
Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:- Receiving parts for vehicles that are in the process
- Entering parts information into work orders
- Managing in-house parts inventory
- Initiating and documenting parts returns
- Initiating and following up on warranty claims with vendors
- Moving vehicles from intake spots to staging for the next step
- Performing guest follow-up calls
- Shuttling guests
- Performing various administrative tasks and light janitorial duties as required
- Potential to move into a Service Writer position if desired
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications:- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Driving record must be acceptable to our insurance carrier.
- Prior computer and customer service experience required.
- Must be able to occasionally lift and maneuver 50+ lbs.
- High school education is a plus.
- Good communication skills and a desire and ability to work with the public.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required.
- Previous experience as a counter person at an auto parts store is a plus.
Physical Requirements:- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds.
- Work with tools on vehicles lifted above head.
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by vehicle repairs.
- Dexterity to efficiently use hand tools.
- Walk/stand for most of the workday.
- Drive manual transmission vehicles.
- Navigate a computer efficiently.
