The Parts Specialist will provide high-quality service to retail and installer customers and support store management in various tasks.

Essential Job Functions

1. Follow and promote all company customer service programs, such as Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot, etc.
2. Promptly greet customers and assist them in selecting merchandise.
3. Assist managers and installer service specialists in serving professional customers.
4. Complete relevant company training.
5. Provide excellent customer service over the phone, including answering calls, looking up parts, quoting prices, and recommending related items.
6. Handle cash, checks, credit card transactions, and maintain cash drawer security.
7. Process exchanges and returns in accordance with company policies.
8. Address and resolve customer complaints professionally.
9. Assist with store operations such as freight receival, stocking, cleaning, and planogram updates.
10. Perform daily operational tasks like merchandise returns, stock adjustments, and inventory counts.
11. Operate store test equipment after training.
12. Perform in-store services (where legal), such as installing wipers, testing batteries, and scanning vehicle trouble codes.
13. Drive delivery vehicles as needed, if qualified.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills, Education, Knowledge, and Experience

Required:

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively.

Desired:

• Familiarity with automotive parts and systems.
• ASE certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish.
